Managing Stress
I have been running workshops with the focus on identifying and managing stress for over ten years. All my training work is a balance between increasing self awareness on one hand and developing appropriate coping strategies on the other. It is a fine but necessary balance to try and focus on both causes and symptoms. When the focus is on unwanted stress, anxiety and panic attacks, it is important to offer the participants a chance to develop new skills to help them manage the signs and symptoms of the stress. But it is equally important to encourage clients to seek support in focusing on the aspects of their lives that produces the tensions; whether it is work, home, family, past or concerns about the future.
My stress workshops are always activity based and tend to demonstrate that learning can also be enjoyable.
